Reviews:
* If you desire a 2-seat roadster with the charm of an old British MG, plus the reliability and modern conveniences of, well, a Mazda, look no further than the 2015 Miata. That this convertible starts under $25,000 only adds to its appeal. Source: KBB.com
* The 2015 Mazda MX-5 Miata combines a sleek design, superb handling, and reliability. Experience the exhilaration of a vehicle that is fun to drive, agile, and anticipates your every move. No wonder it is the bestselling roadster of all time and perfect for people that want the sports car experience. Mazda is able to build a lighter weight automobile using aluminum in the engine block, cylinder head, hood, trunklid, and front suspension control arms. The weight is approximately 2500 lbs, and maintains a balance of front-to-rear distribution at 52/48, which contributes to the nimble handling. The manual transmission has 167hp @ 7000rpm, which is plenty for the lighter weight Miata. Automatic transmission is also available rated at 158hp @ 6700rpm. You might expect the cost to reflect the use of aluminum, but the Miata remains affordable and a fantastic bargain. If you want value and reliability but don't want to sacrifice the fun of driving, this is the car for you. Available with a Power Soft Top or easy to use Power Retractable Hard Top you can enjoy the open-air feeling that is part of the driving experience of the Miata. And, with an EPA estimate of 21/28, you can afford to enjoy driving without worrying about the gas tank. Select from one of three trims, Sport, Club, or Grand Touring. There are also plenty of options available on higher trims if that is what you want. Just because it is a race car, it doesn't mean you can't have all the bells and whistles. * Fun to drive; precise steering and handling; enjoyable manual transmission; smartly designed soft and hard tops; low price; low operating costs. Source: Edmunds

Not any major problems. Gas cap was replaced because it was making the check engine come on. Replaced run flat tires with non run flats. Have original brakes. Fit and finish excellent. Bose stereo replaced under warranty because CD would not play.

My car is a 2010 Grand Touring PRHT. It's the 3 rd Miata we've had in the family - one of each generation . It's the most comfortable, best all around model yet. The hardtop reduces unwanted wind noise which our previous versions (including a 1999 with removable hardtop) all suffered from with the top up. The interior is comfortable and the ergonomics are just about perfect. However if you're tall or big, this car won't fit you. The MX-5, like the late Honda S2000, is a car that you have to fit, not the other way around. Unfortunately, I couldn't find this model with a 6 speed manual anywhere. No dealers in the Southeast had a PRHT with manual. The auto though is exceptional - immediate shifts in manual, throtle blip downshifts, etc. Gas mileage is consistent @ 23 mph for mixed driving. The A/C is weak in very hot weather; takes a long time to cool interior. But with heated seats and windows up, one comfortably drive at freeway speeds into the 50s, making it an easy 3 season roadster. All in alll, a superlative car.

I have read the complaints about the vehicle being cramped and uncomfortable for long journeys. I am 5 foot 12 inches and drove for 600 miles in 3 days and found it very comfortable. The ride is firm but compliant and the seats support very well. The gas pedal may be a bit too close but not to the point of being uncomfortable. Great gas mileage - +30mpg - even when brand new in mixed driving. Boot (truck in the US) is a reasonable size for two. A fun drive; if you want more then you will have to pay more. The MX5 is a great value and well built. I owned the old Issigoni Mini in the UK and so am used to small cars and this is a small car but it feels really good and solid. This is what we Brits intended with the roadster, but we just could not get quite right.
